Initially I had booked my appointment through the main call centre , when I arrived for my appointment there was no appointment booked for me , I was annoyed as I had cleared my day off for the appointment ? I rearranged for another time after the staff apologised profusely and suggested that I re contacted the call centre to complain. When I attended for my eye test I was greeted very warmly by the staff at the Westwood cross store in Broadstairs , the lady introduced herself , when it was my time one of the front desk staff who's name was Sarah took me into a room and completed several test's making me feel very comfortable and explaining everything she was doing , when I went in for my actual test the optometrist again introduced themselves and completed a very thorough eye exam again explaining everything and once test was completed explained that I would need to upgrade my glasses. I went back out and my details were handed over to Sarah again, I didn't want to choose myself so I returned a couple of days later with family and Sarah was there , she gave me time to choose and I never once felt pressurised , Sarah gave me an idea of which sort of frames I needed to look for regarding my prescription , she fully informed me of all the options I could have added and knowing my occupation she suggested ideas,but again didn't pressure me into taking them , we decided to get a price which included top quality lenses and then were going to tweak the price , Sarah priced everything and the total price came to £690.00 , Sarah then suggested that if that was to expensive the next Bi-focal lenses would be suitable or we could take of the thinner lens , she really didn't pressure us to stay with the price that had come out , Sarah then said she would give us some time to have a think , we decided that as although I have contact lenses if I had the glasses with the options we had chosen then I would be able to use them more often rather than them being a back up . Once we had decided Sarah told us there would be an extended wait as the lenses we had chosen would have to come from Germany and that she would contact me when they were delivered and organise me going to collect them. I cannot express how helpful Sarah was and how knowledgable about the products on offer explaining each one not just telling us was available and the price but what each product meant and what benefits they provided . The other staff who were there were also happy and friendly , and if requested also had good product knowledge. I feel that Sarah should get a special mention. From the initial experience from the call centre not booking me an appointment resulting in me having to reattend (seriously thinking of using another optician )and causing me wasting booking time off to the end result I had completely changed my mind and would recommend friends and family to use this optician , although not the call centre to book appointments.

Service was very good, boots own brand glasses seem good quality for the price and everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and courteous.
